We are recruiting for a top-tier law firm with over 12 offices nationwide, known for delivering exceptional legal solutions across various practice areas. They are currently seeking an experienced Education Paralegal to join their Education practice group.
Position Summary:
As an Education Paralegal, you will work closely with attorneys specializing in education law to support public and private K-12 schools, school districts, county offices of education, community colleges, universities, special education local plan areas, and education foundations. This role is vital to delivering comprehensive legal support within the firm’s growing Education practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with research, preparation, and management of education law cases.
- Conduct investigations and compile reports related to general education law and compliance issues.
- Support in drafting and reviewing legal documents for school districts and other educational entities.
- Provide consistent communication and coordination with attorneys and clients, ensuring deadlines and case milestones are met.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in education law, particularly within the areas of investigations and general education law.
- Excellent research, organizational, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong self-management and accountability.
